Advice and Recommendations for those suffering from Stress and Anxiety
Imaam Ibn Al-Qayyim (โซุฑุญู
ู ุงูููโฌ) said:
Grief, sorrow and distress only occur from two directions: One of it is: The desire for the worldly life and having a zeal for it. And the second is: shortening in the actions of obedience and piety.

To Proceed: Verily the problem associated with stress and anxiety has become from the many great problems, and it is one that afflicts numerous people.
Some of the signs of Stress and Anxiety:
- Feeling tight and constricted and lack of relaxation, along with continual grief and sorrow.
- Difficulty in concentrating or an empty-mind feeling and weakness in thinking.
- Doubts and uncertainties whether in ambition or in companions and the general people;
- Having doubt that he is afflicted with dangerous illnesses.
- Difficulty in sleeping; from sweating, lack of relaxation and nightmares.
- Panic-attacks and the fear of facing the people, from that which causes seclusion and depression.
- Feeling a change in personality or a change in the surrounding environment even if in reality that isn’t the case.
- Fearing the closeness of death in an increased sense to that of the normal state.
- Feeling numbness and tingling in the body and limbs.
- Colonic Contraction, Stomachache and tense headache.
- Weakness of sexual desire.
- Ill-Fated in most affairs.
- Hort tempered and provocative.
- Magnifying small issues.
- Quickness in fatigue and exhaustion and anorexia.
